VP Profile: Matt Gonzolaz

Matt Gonzolaz was born in 1965 in McAllen, Texas. In 1987, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College, Columbia University and then a Juror’s Doctorate in 1990 from Stanford Law School. From 1991 to 2000, he worked as a deputy public defender in San Francisco. In 2000 he was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and became the president of the Board in 2003. Currently, he practices law in San Francisco.

He is Ralph Nader’s Vice Presidential candidate.
