Event Description: Student Engagement for Racial Justice and the African and African American Studies Department are excited to be hosting an active workshop on the history of voter’s suppression and contextualizing its current presence in Black and Brown communities. ‘The Black Vote: A Guide to Navigating the 2020 Election’ will serve as an opportunity for students to create their own personalized voting plan, which will help them navigate the many barriers that exist today.
We’ll be giving away #BlackGMUVotes Masks from 10/26-10/28. Masks will be available for pick-up at George Mason University on Monday, October 26th from 11:00am-2:00pm and Wednesday, October 28th 11:00am-2:00pm in the Patriot Lounge. Please enter your shipping address below if you’re unable to pick up your masks. Shipping information must be provided by Tuesday, October 27th at 5:00 PM in order to receive a mask.
